The London Building

A Restoration Of Vancouver’s Heritage

Originally constructed in 1910, this 11-storey heritage office tower underwent a complete restoration to provide badly needed school space in the fast-growing sector of private education. In the heart of downtown Vancouver, the demand for school space far exceeds supply as schools require high-occupancy building standards, and school use is not always suitable in A class buildings. As one of the earliest Heritage Revitalization Agreements with the City of Vancouver, Rize undertook the necessary upgrades to make this one of the very few buildings in Vancouver to legally conform to building standards for schools.
